About Cedar
Cedar is a UK-based property and housing organisation working with landlords, local authorities and housing providers across England. We rely on robust email communications, CRM systems and automation to manage thousands of client interactions every month. We are seeking a proactive specialist to own and optimise our email infrastructure.
Role Purpose
The successful candidate will manage SendGrid, optimise email deliverability, maintain domain reputation, support CRM integrations, oversee automation workflows and provide technical support to ensure reliable business communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all SendGrid accounts and subusers.
- Monitor delivery, opens, clicks, bounces, suppressions and spam complaints.
- Configure and maintain SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
- Monitor IP and domain reputation.
- Support CRM integrations, APIs and contact synchronisation.
- Build and maintain automated email journeys and templates.
- Troubleshoot SMTP, DNS, API and email tracking issues.
- Liaise directly with SendGrid support until issues are resolved.
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports with recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and email best practices.
Essential Skills
- Minimum two years' experience with SendGrid or similar email platform.
- Strong understanding of SMTP, DNS, SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
- Experience with CRM platforms and API integrations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Advanced written and spoken English.
- Strong Excel and Google Workspace skills.
Desirable Skills
- HubSpot, Zapier, Make.com, HTML/CSS, SQL, Power BI or Google Analytics.
- Experience supporting UK or US clients.
