Key Responsibilities:
Perform geological sampling activities, including reverse circulation (RC), channel, grab, and other required sampling methods in accordance with company procedures and QA/QC standards to provide accurate geological information for mining operations.
Assist in geological interpretation, orebody delineation, and grade control modeling under the guidance of the Mine Geologist.
Collect, validate, and maintain geological data and ensure timely entry into the geological database.
Monitor ore mining activities to minimize ore loss and dilution and ensure correct ore and waste delineation.
Coordinate with Mine Operations, Mine Engineering, Survey, Drilling, and Laboratory teams to ensure efficient execution of grade control and geological activities.
Verify sample preparation, QA/QC requirements, sample documentation, and sample submissions to ensure data quality and traceability.
Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly geological reports, maps, plans, cross-sections, and other technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies, company procedures, and the Business Management System (BMS) while promoting safe work practices.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree (S1) in Geology/Geological Engineering.
Minimum 1 year of experience in mining geology, grade control, or mineral exploration, preferably in Gold Commodity.
Basic understanding of orebody geology, structural geology, mineralization, and geological mapping.
Knowledge of grade control processes, geological sampling methods, and QA/QC principles.
Experience or familiarity with mine geology activities, including geological mapping, RC chip logging, trench mapping, or field sampling, is an advantage.
Basic understanding of drilling methods (RC, diamond drilling, or blast hole drilling) and sampling procedures.
Familiarity with geological software such as Datamine Studio RM, Leapfrog Geo, Micromine, ArcGIS/QGIS, or other mine geology software is preferred.
Ability to interpret geological data, prepare geological maps and sections, and maintain geological databases.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Willing to work in remote mining sites on a roster basis.
Demonstrates integrity, initiative, teamwork, and a strong willingness to learn.
Strong commitment to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards and safe work practices.
Possess a valid Indonesian Class A Driving License (SIM A) or be willing to obtain one.
