We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavior Therapist to support elementary school-aged children in developing positive behaviors, emotional regulation, social skills, and learning readiness. The therapist will work closely with children in school and/or home-based settings, collaborating with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one behavioral therapy support for elementary-aged children.
- Conduct behavior observations and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Support children in improving emotional regulation, communication, social interaction, and adaptive behaviors.
- Apply evidence-based behavioral strategies during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and related professionals to ensure consistency in interventions.
- Monitor progress, document session notes, and provide regular reports.
- Support children in achieving developmental, behavioral, and school participation goals.
- Maintain ethical, professional, and child-centered therapeutic practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Special Education, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Behavior Therapist or Occupational Therapist, preferably in school and/or home-based settings.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is required.
- Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies and child development.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Patient, empathetic, proactive, and passionate about working with children.
- Ability to work on-site in PIK 2.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting children with developmental, behavioral, or learning needs.
- Non-hijab applicants is preferred
- Familiarity with ABA principles, sensory integration, or social-emotional interventions is a plus.
- Relevant certifications or training in behavioral therapy are preferred.
