Summary:
Seeking an AS400 Developer to support and enhance Banking systems within a core banking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Development and support of BWC customer files
Participation in DevOps initiatives
Automation of deployments using ALDON
Monitor system performance, investigate production issues, and deliver timely resolutions to minimize service disruptions.
Support application testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities to ensure successful system releases.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for system changes, deployment procedures, and operational support
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in application development, system enhancement, and production support
Willing to relocate to Kuala Lumpur
Hands-on experience with Silverlake Core Banking, particularly the BWC (Bank-Wide Customer) system.
Strong technical knowledge of IBM AS/400 (IBM i) platform and DB2 database.
Proficiency in RPG programming for application development and maintenance.
Exposure to DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and release management.
Experience with ALDON deployment automation and version control for application releases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.
Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
