Villa Operations Manager – 10 to 12 Villas
Location: Nusa Lembongan, Bali
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and hands-on Villa Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a growing collection of 10–12 luxury villas located on the beautiful island of Nusa Lembongan.
This is a leadership role for a professional with a proven track record in luxury villa or hospitality management, strong operational expertise, and excellent organizational skills. The successful candidate will play a key role not only in managing the day-to-day operations but also in helping build the operational structure of the business.
Working closely with the shareholders, the Villa Operations Manager will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and leading a high-performing team while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards across all properties.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
• Oversee the daily operations of a portfolio of 10–12 luxury villas, ensuring consistent service and presentation standards across all properties.
• Develop and implement efficient operational procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure every villa is maintained to premium quality standards.
• Coordinate maintenance planning and prioritize repairs identified during guest check-ins, check-outs, and routine inspections.
• Ensure all operational activities, maintenance requests, and services are accurately recorded through the property's management systems.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
Team Leadership & Recruitment
• Work closely with the shareholders to design the organizational structure for the villa operations.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop the operational team, including local managers, guest service staff, housekeeping, maintenance personnel, gardeners, pool attendants, and other support staff.
• Build a motivated, accountable, and service-oriented team culture.
• Manage team performance through regular coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Validate staff salaries and bonus recommendations before submission to accounting (bonus payments subject to shareholder approval).
Property Maintenance
• Supervise all maintenance activities across the villa portfolio.
• Identify capital improvement requirements and report recommendations to the shareholders.
• Source qualified contractors and suppliers, obtaining multiple quotations for all major works.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize disruption to guests while maintaining property standards.
Guest Experience
• Ensure every guest receives an exceptional luxury hospitality experience.
• Communicate fluently in English with international guests through WhatsApp, phone, email, and in person.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Review guest feedback regularly and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Oversee guest communication from booking confirmation through departure.
• Support the local management team by covering guest check-ins and check-outs when required.
Administration & Financial Oversight
• Monitor operational cash handling and petty cash.
• Ensure all revenues from guest services are accurately recorded.
• Consolidate bookings from all reservation platforms and submit reports to accounting.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and guest information.
• Validate direct bookings and ensure booking information is complete and accurate.
• Coordinate with accounting regarding invoices, petty cash reconciliation, payroll, and operational reporting.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:
• A strong professional profile with a proven track record managing luxury villas, boutique hotels, or hospitality operations.
• Experience managing multi-property operations is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to recruit, build, organize, and lead high-performing teams.
• Outstanding organizational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Financial awareness and experience managing operational budgets, reporting, and administrative processes.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with the shareholders.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining luxury hospitality standards.
Location
This position is based in Nusa Lembongan, Bali. Candidates should be willing to relocate to or reside on the island.
Compensation
• Monthly salary: IDR 20,000,000 – 25,000,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and proven track record.
