About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pilates Instructor to join the team at Liebe Pilates in Sukabumi, West Java. Key responsibilities
Conduct group and private Pilates classes for clients of varying fitness levels and abilities
Develop and deliver engaging, safe, and effective Pilates sessions tailored to individual client goals and needs
Provide professional instruction on proper form, technique, and breathing patterns to ensure client safety and maximise results
Assess clients' fitness levels, limitations, and objectives to design appropriate workout programmes
Maintain detailed records of client progress and adjust programmes as needed to support continuous improvement
Create a welcoming, supportive, and motivating atmosphere in the studio that encourages client retention and satisfaction
Educate clients about the benefits of Pilates and provide guidance on nutrition, posture, and lifestyle habits that support their fitness goals
Maintain all Pilates equipment in good working order and ensure the studio environment is clean, safe, and well-organised
Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and best practices by attending professional development workshops and training sessions
Collaborate with other instructors and studio management to create a cohesive and professional team environment
What we're looking for
A recognised Pilates certification from an accredited training provider (such as Pilates Method Alliance or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Pilates Instructor in a studio, gym, or fitness facility setting
Demonstrated expertise in various Pilates disciplines, including mat-based Pilates and equipment-based practices
In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and body biomechanics as it relates to Pilates practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds
Strong organisational and time-management abilities to manage multiple classes and personalised sessions effectively
A genuine passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others achieve their health goals
Physical fitness and the ability to demonstrate exercises and movements with proper form and control
Professional demeanour with a commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive studio environment
Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required
Preferred: Additional certifications in related disciplines such as yoga, personal training, or rehabilitation exercise
Preferred: Experience working with special populations such as pre- and post-natal clients, seniors, or individuals with injuries
