Key Responsibilities
Review business requirements and functional specifications to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Execute manual testing for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system integration (SIT), smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using defect management tools.
Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Validate defect fixes and conduct re-testing before production deployment.
Prepare test reports, testing documentation, and quality metrics.
Support production verification activities and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer, Software Tester, or Quality Assurance Analyst.
Experience testing enterprise applications, preferably in the financial services, banking, insurance, or multifinance industry.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Hands-on experience in designing test cases, executing test plans, and reporting defects.
Familiar with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Basic knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman is an advantage.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience testing loan origination, financing, customer management, payment, or collection systems.
Familiarity with SQL for data validation is a plus.
Knowledge of test management tools and QA best practices.
