The Role

We’re looking for an exceptional Fullstack Engineer to help us build the next great fintech platform. You’ll join a small, fast-moving team building high-impact products across accounting, tax, and banking. You’ll own features end-to-end and contribute across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale Haven’s core platform across tax, accounting, and banking
  • Take ownership of the full software lifecycle — scoping, building, testing, deploying
  • Collaborate with product and design to ship features that delight customers
  • Write scalable backend code and craft refined, performant frontends
  • Contribute to infrastructure, observability, and system reliability
  • Help shape our technical roadmap and engineering best practices

Tech Stack

  • Cloud: GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL Postgres, Pub/Sub, Terraform)
  • Languages: TypeScript, Python (typed), Rust
  • Frameworks: React, Next.js, Slonik, Axum, SQLx, Django

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a fullstack or backend engineer
  • Experience with modern frameworks (React/Next.js, Django, etc.)
  • Proficiency in at least one typed language (TypeScript, Rust, etc.)
  • Strong product intuition and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience with system design and building scalable services
  • Excellent communication skills; startup or fintech experience a plus

Compensation

  • Salary: $120,000 – $200,000 USD
  • Equity: 0.25% – 2%
