Job Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our accounting team in managing financial records for multiple client accounts. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate books, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts across a portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid grasp of accounting fundamentals, and is comfortable managing multiple clients' needs at once while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple client accounts.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and summaries for clients and internal review.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist with budgeting and monitoring compliance with financial regulations for each client.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes across client accounts.
- Serve as a point of contact for client queries, responding promptly and professionally.
- Communicate financial information clearly to clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in the same or a related role (experience in an accounting firm or multi-client environment is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, and bookkeeping principles and practices
- Working knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to resolve issues promptly and maintain client satisfaction.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly to clients and senior leadership.
