Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our accounting team in managing financial records for multiple client accounts. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate books, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts across a portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid grasp of accounting fundamentals, and is comfortable managing multiple clients' needs at once while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple client accounts.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports and summaries for clients and internal review.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with budgeting and monitoring compliance with financial regulations for each client.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes across client accounts.
  • Serve as a point of contact for client queries, responding promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate financial information clearly to clients, team members, and stakeholders.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the same or a related role (experience in an accounting firm or multi-client environment is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, and bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Working knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to resolve issues promptly and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly to clients and senior leadership.
