The Messenger is primarily responsible for the delivery and/or pick-up of parcels, documents and other correspondence to affiliate offices, government agencies, banks and other private institutions the Company has transactions with.
2. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 Pick Up parcels, documents and other correspondence and routes to concerned departments
2.2 Deliver parcels, documents and other correspondence to BANK, SSS, PAGIBIG, PHILHEALTH, BIR, CITY HALL, DTI, BARANGAY, etc. (Always prioritize the Banking Transactions).
2.3 Handle packages and documents with care especially ones that are marked “fragile”
2.4 Record all items and documents for delivery, ensuring the accuracy of the delivery list
2.5 Purchase various items for office and/or production use if requested and authorized
2.6 Notify the Department Manager about renewal of Permits, new requirements for processing permits, etc.
2.7 Ensure that all daily errands are properly approved and recorded in the Itinerary Report. Indicate the unaccomplished task/s and state the reason
2.8 Report to Immediate/Department Head within 24 hours any untoward incidents that occurred/witnessed within company premises and/or during working hours that might jeopardize the company and/or employee’s operation/reputation
2.9 Other related tasks that may be assigned by Immediate/Department Head
