Senior App Developer [In-House, On-Site In Dalung, Bali]

About the Role

We're a digital marketing agency building internal tools and client-facing products for the contracting industry. We move fast, and we've been prototyping fast, and now we need someone who can take what we've built and make it production-ready. 

This is a hands-on senior role with direct access to leadership and real ownership over the technical side of the business.  This is not a vibe-coding role. We need someone who understands what's behind the code.

What You'll Work On

• Lead development on our core internal platform (marketing ops tool evolving into a client-facing SaaS)

• Maintain and improve our website audit tool, currently built in React + NestJS

• Review existing codebases for security vulnerabilities: input sanitization, XSS protection, auth patterns

• Build new automation and workflow tools as the product roadmap grows

• Work directly with leadership to scope and architect new features

Requirements

Must-Haves

• Excellent English, written and spoken

• Familiarity with marketing technology or agency environments

• Based in or open to relocating to Bali (we have a dedicated office with a dev setup ready to go)

Experience & Portfolio

• Senior level only

• Familiar with AI-assisted coding

• Strong full-stack experience with React and NestJS (or equivalent modern frameworks)

• Proven portfolio of shipped, public-facing apps we can actually look at

• Experience with user authentication, user database architecture, and payment integrations

• Experience building SaaS tools, internal dashboards, or ops automation

Technical Depth

• Equally comfortable on front-end and back-end development

• Solid grasp of application security and pen testing

• Experience with algorithms, and having critical thinking
