About the role
Safrin Maruli Chartered Accountant, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Service Staff to join our growing team in Jakarta Timur. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering high-quality accounting and financial reporting services to our diverse client base. As an Accounting Service Staff member, you will be instrumental in supporting our accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and contributing to the timely delivery of comprehensive financial reports and statements.
Key responsibilities
Preparing and processing financial documents, invoices, and expense reports with precision and attention to detail
Recording financial transactions in accounting systems and maintaining accurate ledgers
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards
Reconciling bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable with supporting documentation
Supporting the audit process by organizing and preparing the required documentation and schedules
Performing data entry, maintaining comprehensive financial records, and filing systems
Assisting in tax compliance matters and the preparation of tax-related documentation
Collaborating with clients to gather necessary financial information and clarify accounting matters
Supporting senior accountants in various accounting engagements and special projects
Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
What we're looking for
A relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution
Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct discrepancies in financial records
Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English
A methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving and financial analysis
Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, compliance, and maintaining confidentiality of financial information
Willingness to learn and develop professional skills within the accounting field
Experience with accounting software such as MYOB, SAP, or similar systems is preferred
Prior experience in an accounting firm or corporate accounting department would be advantageous
