About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to join our team at Bricks 4 Kidz Surabaya on a full-time basis. This role is located in Surabaya, East Java, and offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's educational development. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, interactive lessons that encourage creativity and foster a love of learning. Key responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse age groups and learning styles
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning objectives
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and performance
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum and teaching strategies
Model positive behaviour and promote values such as respect, creativity, and curiosity
Ensure all classroom materials and resources are organised, maintained, and used appropriately
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
What we're looking for
Teaching qualification or relevant certification in education or a related field
Demonstrated experience working with children in an educational or tutoring environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children and parents
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in English; additional languages are beneficial
Ability to create dynamic, interactive learning experiences that engage and inspire students
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies
Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for education and supporting children's learning
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Commitment to maintaining professional standards and safeguarding responsibilities
