Responsibilities:
Ensure effective implementation and compliance with the systems and processes outlined in the project HSEQ Management Plan
Provide HSEQ Management Systems mentoring and guidance to leaders and workers
Liaising with our client in relation to health and safety activities and site-based indicators
Assisting with accident/incident investigations as required
Facilitating risk assessments to support operations and their ability to control and reduce risks across our activities
Maintaining and reviewing site corrective action and hazard reporting processes
Completing site inspections and audits in line with the group annual safety planner and site-based activity planners
Completing monthly safety reporting and daily inputs into the company’s event management system
Assist the Project Manager/PJO to develop and implement health and safety processes
Lead, coach and mentor team members to ensure that objectives are achieved to develop and maintain a positive safety culture
Implement improvements to Site/Company Safety Management Systems to ensure the conservation of people, property, environment and profits
Facilitate the safety, health and well-being of all employees through education, training and demonstration of the acceptable behaviours
Conduct regular reviews on safety performance, site risk management controls and safety improvement initiatives
To promote and support safety reward recognition program

Qualification in Safety, Health, Environment or similar (Degree preferred but not essential)
10+ years' experience in Underground Mining
8+ years' experience in HSEQ Management roles
SMKP auditor
Certificate of Competency for Middle Management Level (Pengawas Operasional Madya)
Experience in complying with the Statutory Mining and HSEQ requirements
Proven ability in managing and coordinating multi-functional teams
Able to demonstrate successfully managing and minimizing business risks
