The DCX Client Services - Home-Based Assistant Merchandiser serves as an operational partner to the Lead Merchandiser, ensuring product information, costing, and setup details are accurate and complete while following established processes and Preferred Supplier Agreements.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support Merchandisers in executing client programs across Client e-commerce, catalog, and promotional initiatives.

  • Source products based on requirements provided by the lead Merchandiser using SAGE and ESP platforms, identifying compliant suppliers, pricing, MOQs, decoration capabilities, and production timelines.

  • Request and confirm accurate supplier net cost quotes based on provided specifications and Preferred Supplier Agreements.

  • Submit Program Product Registration documents to suppliers and obtain the required Supplier

  • Program IDs and confirm supplier adherence to approved pricing and agreements.

  • Create and maintain Item Master Data Load (IMDL) for SKU setup and production, ensuring

  • accuracy across item details, vendor information, costing components, embellishment details, HTS codes, country of origin, and dimensional data.

  • Support Item Master Data Load (IMDL) updates and phase-out requests as needed.

  • Review Item Master Data Load (IMDL) for completeness and accuracy prior to handoff to the PDM team.

  • Order and track product samples, confirming negotiated sample fees and product accuracy.

  • Review incoming product against approved proofs to support warehouse-receiving approval and escalate discrepancies as needed.

  • Request, track, and confirm completion of e-commerce assets, including product copy, size charts, and web-ready imagery.

  • Assist with PowerPoint presentation decks by compiling product descriptions, pricing summaries, and relevant product details.

  • Organize and maintain all documentation within program-specific folders for structured record-keeping.

  • Coordinate assignments with shared services teams and ensure follow-through to completion.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, and Business Administration, or any related field.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in promotional products, branded merchandise, or product support roles preferred

  • Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in both Microsoft and Google applications. Basic exposure to Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva is ideal.

  • Industry-Specific Knowledge:

    • Experience utilizing SAGE and/or ESP sourcing platforms (required).

    • Basic knowledge of working with product images, including resizing, organizing files, and applying simple logo drop renderings.

    • Ability to attend internal and client meetings, capture accurate notes, and document clear action items.
