Responsibilites
• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for IoT and industrial products.
• Implement robust firmware using Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
• Optimize firmware for performance, reliability, and low-power operation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain firmware lifecycle
documentation, including requirements, design, implementation, and testing.
• Support product manufacturing, deployment, and continuous engineering improvements.
• Deliver projects on schedule while meeting quality and customer requirements.
Requirement
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in embedded firmware or embedded systems development.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming; Python or Bash is advantageous.
• Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with embedded microcontrollers such as STM32, Renesas RL78 or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of UART, SPI, I²C, USB, RS-485, RS-232 and embedded communication protocols.
• Experience implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Knowledge of LTE Cat-1, LTE-M, NB-IoT, or other wireless communication technologies is preferred.
• Experience using version control and project management tools such as Git, SVN & Jira.
• Experience using debugging and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and JTAG/SWD debuggers.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Willing to travel when required.
