We are seeking an experienced and passionate IGCSE & AS/A Level Physics Teacher to join our Secondary Education team. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta Utara. As Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physics instruction to students following the IGCSE and AS/A Level curricula. This role is strategically important to our school's mission of academic excellence and plays a vital part in preparing students for success in their international examinations and future academic pursuits.
What we're looking for
A recognised degree in Physics or a related scientific discipline
Demonstrated experience teaching Physics (and/or Mathematics) at secondary level, preferably with IGCSE and AS/A Level examination boards such as Cambridge, Edexcel or AQA
Strong subject knowledge of physics concepts, principles and practical applications
Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to create an engaging and disciplined learning environment
Proven ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles
Proficiency in using technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents and colleagues
Experience with laboratory work and practical physics demonstrations is highly desirable
Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum or similar international qualifications is preferred
