Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance and control strategies to meet or exceed industry standards
Overseeing quality control inspections, testing procedures, and documentation throughout the production and distribution lifecycle
Identifying and addressing quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures
Collaborating cross-functionally to optimize production workflows and eliminate inefficiencies
Driving a culture of quality-focused and continuous improvement
Conduct, prepare & overseeing audit process & reporting
Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations, standards, and company's quality policies
Prepare annual budgeting for QAC activities
Requirements:
8+ years of proven experience in quality assurance and control, preferably within the food manufacturing industry
Extensive knowledge of quality management systems, process improvement methodologies, and industry best practices
Strong technical expertise in quality control principles, statistical process control, and data analysis
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Proven track record of driving quality-focused cultural change and continuous improvement
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related discipline
