Responsibilities:
As a Sales Engineer will be responsible for understanding our customers business and technical challenges, and positioning solutions to address those challenges.
Job Description:
• Provide input into business planning process with partner sales team to incorporate field strategy, focus solution and products, and go to market strategy
• Provide presales technical support for the development and implementation of complex offerings and solutions (solution design, RFX response, creating proposal, PoC)
• Serve as a trusted adviser to Red Hat’s customer staff and assist technology stakeholders in setting and delivering on expectations
• Deliver technical product and sales presentations to technical stakeholders at Customers articulating the technical value proposition of Red Hat’s products to technical stakeholders (including product demonstration)
• Respond to technical questions about Red Hat products on a day to day basis from customers
• Represent Red Hat and deliver technical Red Hat solution presentations at industry events that are sponsored/organised by Red Hat
• Become the Red Hat subject matter experts in the company and help to increase Red Hat's mind share
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in pre-sales or related technical field
- Fluency in English is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of IT Solution (Infrastructure/ Application)
- In-depth knowledge one of technologies such as cloud, server, storage, networking, security, virtualization, business continuity, disaster recover, etc.
- Preferred to have experience for RedHat Solutions.
- The ability to proficiently communicate clearly, explain concepts and tell a story both verbally and in writing
- The ability and motivation to research and self-learn
- Curiosity, drive and ambition are by far the most important assets
