Job Description:
Select initial product assortment based on market trends, consumer needs, and company strategy.
Manage purchasing activities and order placement with suppliers.
Allocate products to stores to ensure optimal stock distribution.
Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, trading terms, and long-term cooperation.
Set retail prices and develop promotional strategies to drive sales.
Monitor category sales performance and analyze market trends for future decisions.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and evaluate supplier performance regularly.
Requirements:
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Buying / Merchandising / Category Management (retail, FMCG, or multibrand preferred).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in English (spoken and written) for communication with suppliers and business partners.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to identify market trends and consumer behavior.
Knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and pricing strategy.
Proactive, target-driven, and able to work under pressure.
