- Strong proficiency in mathematics with the ability to make the subject both stimulating and enjoyable for students.
- Prior tutoring experience, preferably in a group setting, demonstrating effective communication and instructional skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with young students.
- Willingness to learn and implement the Singapore math methodology to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Background in math competitions is a plus, showcasing a deep understanding and mastery of mathematical concepts.
- Possession of a good computer or laptop with a camera and microphone, capable of running commonly used online platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and others, to facilitate effective online tutoring sessions.
- Reliable access to a good internet connection to ensure uninterrupted online sessions and smooth communication between the tutor and students.
