Yukerja Summary
The Product Designer role at Petrolink Services Indonesia is curated from JobStreet (category Kreatif & Desain). Note the work location (Jakarta) before applying. Yukerja.com is not the employer — applications are handled on the official source site.
Petrolink is a global company that specializes in user-driven technology for the Oil and Gas Industry. We are looking for a Product Designer to join our growing product team. You will design intuitive, usable experiences for complex, data-heavy enterprise workflows, working closely with Product Managers and engineers to turn hard problems into clear, elegant solutions. This is a hands-on craft role for someone who cares about user outcomes, not just polished screens, and who is comfortable getting close to a technical domain.
You will report to the Product Lead and work within a collaborative, cross-functional team that includes PMs, fellow designers, and engineering squads. The environment is direct, commercially minded, and focused on continuous improvement: of both the products we build and the way we build them.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design end-to-end user experiences for complex enterprise SaaS applications, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Build deep empathy with users through interviews, usability testing, observation sessions, and ongoing feedback loops.
Design clear, intuitive interfaces that simplify information-dense workflows and make complex data easy to understand and act upon.
Contribute to and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, accessibility, and adherence to UX best practices.
Rapidly prototype concepts in Figma and validate solutions through testing and iteration.
Participate in product discovery activities, helping validate problems, assumptions, and solution ideas before development investment.
Use product analytics, user feedback, and research insights to inform design decisions and measure outcomes.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product lifecycle, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
Develop strong domain knowledge and work effectively within complex technical environments.
Present design rationale clearly to stakeholders and facilitate productive design discussions.
Maintain consistency across the entire user journey, ensuring cohesive experiences rather than isolated screen designs.
Connect design decisions to measurable product and business outcomes
Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of Product Design experience, ideally within B2B, enterprise, or data-intensive software products.
Proven experience designing enterprise SaaS applications and complex workflows.
Strong understanding of design systems, component libraries, design tokens, and scalable design practices.
Proficiency with Figma and modern design and prototyping tools.
Strong visual design and interaction design skills, with the ability to independently design complete workflows and experiences.
Solid understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, information architecture, and interaction patterns.
Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements.
Comfortable using data, analytics, and metrics to inform and validate design decisions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and learn complex domains quickly.
Strong collaboration skills with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional teams.
Outcome-oriented mindset focused on delivering measurable user and business value.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing for technical, industrial, or enterprise users (industrial software, data platforms, dashboards, or real-time monitoring tools).
Experience designing analytics platforms, dashboards, reporting tools, or data visualization experiences.
Exposure to continuous discovery practices and frameworks such as JTBD, journey mapping, and assumption testing.
Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system.
Familiarity with upstream oil and gas operations, or with WITSML / ETP data standards, is a strong advantage.
