We are seeking a detail-oriented, energetic, and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, managing inventory, and training staff to ensure we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and safety.
## Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Training: Schedule, train, motivate, and supervise room attendants, laundry staff, and public area cleaners.
Quality Assurance: Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, and public areas to ensure they meet established luxury and cleanliness standards.
Inventory & Asset Management: Monitor and manage cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities. Conduct regular stock takes and place reorders within budget.
Operations & Workflow: Assign daily room cleaning lists and tasks efficiently based on occupancy levels and check-in/check-out schedules.
Guest Satisfaction: Promptly address and resolve guest complaints or special requests regarding room cleanliness or amenities.
Maintenance Coordination: Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Engineering/Maintenance department immediately.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all team members comply with health, safety, and chemical handling regulations (OSHA/HAZCCP guidelines).
## Job Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of experience in housekeeping operations (Hotel, Resort, or High-end Residential), with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team-lead role.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in Hospitality/Hotel Management is a plus.
Skills:
Strong eye for detail (spotting what others miss).
Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead a diverse team.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items throughout an 8-hour shift.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Hotel Management Systems / Property Management Systems (PMS) like Opera, Cloudbeds, or HotSOS is highly preferred.
Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by business needs.
