Job Requirements
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems in residential, commercial, or industrial facilities.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, technical diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Install electrical panels, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, lighting systems, and other electrical components.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, malfunctions, and equipment failures.
- Replace defective electrical parts and restore systems to proper working condition.
- Conduct electrical testing using appropriate tools and instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with applicable electrical codes, company standards, and safety regulations.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or code violations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and materials used.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
- Respond promptly to emergency electrical repairs and service requests.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
- Recommend improvements to electrical systems to enhance safety, reliability, and energy efficiency.
- Follow all company policies, occupational safety and health standards, and environmental regulations.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management related to electrical maintenance and installation.
