We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining general ledger integrity, preparing journal entries, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post complex journal entries accurately and on time.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger and sub-ledger accounts.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
- Analyze profit and loss (P&L) accounts and investigate variances.
- Process and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Monitor and account for prepayments and contra asset accounts.
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Generate financial reports and perform data analysis using Excel.
- Utilize ERP systems to manage accounting transactions efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA license is preferred but not required.
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in corporate accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in:
- Large/complex journal entries
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- General ledger and sub-ledger accounting
- Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis
- Contra asset accounting
- Bank reconciliations
- Variance analysis
- Intercompany transactions
- Prepayments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, formulas, PivotTables, and lookups.
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

- Exposure to month-end close and financial reporting processes.
