We are looking for a Solar Design Engineer for our office in SCBD Jakarta.
Inecosolar is a fast growing solar company, subsidiary of Yinson Renewables, the renewables division of global energy infrastructure and technology company Yinson Holdings Berhad.
Responsibilities
Create and manage complete system designs for solar systems such as electrical SLD, Layout Designs, Connection Diagrams, and Electrical Production Estimation using SketchUp, AutoCAD and PVsyst.
Perform generation, cable and protection sizing calculation for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
Conduct on site survey autonomously with potential client.
Analyze power logging data.
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine the viability and suitability of solar energy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales/BD Manager, project managers, and installation technicians, to ensure seamless project execution
Manage the handover documents after installation
Travel across Indonesia for installation phase from planning until commissioning when required
Manage and create As Build and post-installation drawings
Stay updated on the latest solar technologies, industry standards, and regulations to continuously improve system design and performance
Qualifications
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Solar Engineering.
Have competency certificates in Construction or Electrical field will be a plus.
Good knowledge in SketchUp, AutoCAD and PVsyst.
Intermediate English proficiency or higher is required.
Team player who can work under minimum supervision.
Have a strong desire to learn and seek continual personal and professional development.
Possess excellent communication and coordination skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage the workload, make priority and delegate when necessary.
Ability to design off grid systems will be a plus
