Loss Adjuster – Mechanical, Heavy Equipment Engineering

Key responsibilities

1. Conduct on-site inspections and detailed technical assessments of damaged heavy equipment and machinery to determine the cause, extent, and value of damage

2. Prepare comprehensive loss adjustment reports documenting findings, photographic evidence, and cost estimates for damage repair or replacement

3. Analyse mechanical failure mechanisms and distinguish between insurable losses

4. Evaluate replacement costs and market values for damaged heavy equipment using industry standards and supplier quotations

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Heavy Equipment Engineering

2. Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in mechanical, heavy equipment engineering, equipment inspection, or loss adjusting

3. Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment, industrial machinery

4. Demonstrated experience in damage assessment and cost estimation for industrial equipment

5. Proficiency in using inspection tools, measuring instruments, and technical documentation systems

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex mechanical failures

7. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English

8. Professional certifications in loss adjusting or mechanical engineering are highly desirable

9. Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various job sites across the region

10. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to professional ethics

11. Ability to work independently and manage multiple claims simultaneously
