About the role

We are seeking a Project Sales Engineer (Press Stamping Automation) to join our sales team on a full-time basis in Cikarang Pusat, West Java. This is a strategic position that bridges the gap between our technical capabilities and our clients' business needs. As a Project Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, understanding complex customer requirements, and delivering tailored automation solutions that drive business growth. This role is essential to our continued expansion in the Indonesian manufacturing sector and will have a direct impact on our revenue targets and market presence.

Key responsibilities

  1. Identify, develop, and pursue new sales opportunities within the press stamping and automation manufacturing sectors

  2. Conduct technical consultations with prospective clients to understand their production challenges and requirements

  3. Prepare detailed project proposals and quotations that address specific customer needs and demonstrate clear return on investment

  4. Present press stamping automation solutions to key decision makers and technical stakeholders

  5. Collaborate with internal engineering and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with customer specifications

  6. Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through project closure and customer handover

  7. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and repeat clients

  8. Provide technical support during implementation phases to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery

  9. Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business development opportunities

  10. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and documentation as required by management


What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline

  2. Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the manufacturing, automation, or industrial machinery sector

  3. Strong technical knowledge of press stamping machinery, automation systems, or related manufacturing equipment

  4. Proven track record of successfully closing complex B2B sales deals and meeting or exceeding sales targets

  5. Excellent understanding of the Indonesian manufacturing market and industry landscape

  6. Strong ability to translate technical specifications into business benefits for clients

  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia

  8. Proficiency in preparing technical proposals, quotations, and project documentation

  9. Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

  10. Strong problem-solving skills and a consultative approach to customer engagement

  11. Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites as required

  12. Experience in project-based sales or consultative selling is highly desirable

  13. Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar technical drawing software would be advantageous
