As our operations continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Supervisor / Head of Warehouse to join our team.
In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and distribution of materials, spare parts, and equipment that support our mining activities. You will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational requirements.
Qualifications in a Coal Mining Company
1. Educational Qualifications
Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1), preferably in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Work Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Purchasing.
At least 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience managing warehouse personnel and operations.
Previous experience in a mining site environment or a similar heavy industry is highly preferred.
3. Technical Competencies (Hard Skills)
Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as SAP, particularly Inventory Management and Materials Management (MM) modules.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory handling, and material issuance processes (Inbound and Outbound Logistics).
Knowledge of Inventory Control, stock reconciliation, stock-taking (Stock Opname), cycle counting, and warehouse performance monitoring.
Familiarity with the management of heavy equipment spare parts, consumables, and maintenance materials.
4. Managerial Competencies (Soft Skills)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, motivate, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, particularly when working with Maintenance, Procurement, Finance, and Operations departments.
Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capabilities.
Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to operational challenges.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to be assigned to remote mining sites and work in challenging operational environments.
Capable for working under site conditions.
Willingness to work according to roster schedules, shifts, or rotational assignments as required by mining operations.
