Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end import–export and procurement trading operations, from sourcing and negotiation through execution and delivery.
Develop and execute trading strategies across multiple product-based trades (excluding services), with no limitation on categories or geographic locations.
Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and expand trading portfolios.
Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve annual buyer acquisition targets.
Monitor and analyse regulatory and compliance changes impacting trading operations and provide strategic recommendations to management.
Oversee logistics operations, including shipment monitoring, customs coordination, warehouse management, and delivery performance.
Supervise demand planning and inventory control to ensure supply continuity and cost efficiency.
Coordinate cross-functionally with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational execution.
Prepare business performance reports, market analysis, and strategic updates for management review.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in end-to-end trading, import–export, and procurement, ideally across multiple countries.
Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience managing gross profit and gross margin.
Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to build, coach, and develop teams.
Experience working on cross-functional or strategic projects as a business or technical expert.
Solid understanding of regional and international trade practices, logistics, and regulatory considerations.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Results-driven with strong ownership and accountability.
Willingness to be based in or relocate to the Mekong region
High flexibility for frequent domestic and international travel
Comfortable working across multiple locations, cultures, and time zones
Good command in English
