LED Event Technician (LED Videotron Crew)
Job Description:
The LED Event Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, and dismantling (loading in & loading out) of LED Videotron systems for Lumitron’s event and rental projects. This role focuses on physical installation, system configuration using video processors, and ensuring the LED screen operates smoothly throughout the event.
The technician will work closely with the Event Supervisor, IT Operations Engineer, and warehouse team to deliver reliable, high-quality LED displays for corporate events, exhibitions, concerts, and brand activations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform loading in, assembly, and installation of LED Videotron cabinets, rigging, and support structures.
Configure and operate LED video processors, sending cards, and receiving cards to ensure correct display output.
Set up signal, power, and data cabling according to safety and technical standards.
Conduct testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of LED screens before and during events.
Monitor LED performance during events and respond quickly to technical issues.
Execute loading out and dismantling of LED systems after events, ensuring equipment is safely packed and returned.
Coordinate with Event Supervisor and other technical teams (sound, lighting, stage).
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and professionalism at event sites.
Qualifications:
Minimum SMA/SMK or Diploma (Electrical, Multimedia, IT, or related fields preferred).
Experience in LED Videotron, event production, or multimedia setup is a strong advantage.
Familiar with LED video processors (e.g., Novastar, Colorlight, Linsn, or similar).
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and working long hours during events.
Able to work in a team and follow technical instructions accurately.
Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Required Skills:
Basic understanding of LED display systems and signal flow.
Ability to follow wiring diagrams and installation procedures.
Problem-solving mindset during live event situations.
Discipline, punctuality, and responsibility for company equipment.
Work Location:
Jakarta (with frequent deployment to event locations across Jabodetabek and other cities)
Employment Type:
Full-time / Project-based (depending on Lumitron’s needs)
