STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

About the Role

ATTA Studio is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our growing Design & Build team in Seseh, Bali. This role is responsible for structural design, engineering analysis, BIM coordination, and technical support throughout the design and construction process.

The ideal candidate combines strong engineering expertise with practical construction knowledge and can work closely with architects, MEP engineers, project managers, and site teams to deliver high-quality, buildable, and cost-efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural Design & Engineering
• Perform structural analysis and design for residential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.
• Design reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry structures in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Review architectural concepts and provide structural recommendations during design development.
• Optimize structural systems for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• BIM & Technical Coordination
• Ensure integration and consistency between structural, architectural, and building services models.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and resolve clashes and technical conflicts.
• Support the development and implementation of BIM workflows and standards.

Documentation & Quality Control

• Prepare, review, and validate structural drawings, details, specifications, and technical documents.
• Ensure all structural documentation is accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready.
• Conduct design reviews and quality checks throughout project development.
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control procedures.

Construction Support

• Provide technical support during construction and respond to site engineering queries.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and contractor proposals.
• Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with approved structural designs.
• Assist project teams in resolving structural issues encountered during construction.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and project managers.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and design staff.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards, procedures, and best practices within the company.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Professional Certification in Structural Engineering is preferred.
• Valid professional engineering registration is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in structural engineering and design.
• Experience working on residential, hospitality, villa, hotel, or commercial projects.
• Experience within a design consultancy, engineering consultancy, or Design & Build company is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD Pro, or equivalent structural analysis software.
• Strong BIM coordination experience using Revit and related BIM platforms.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundation systems.
• Knowledge of Indonesian building codes, structural regulations, and construction standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and technical drafting.
• Strong engineering calculation and problem-solving skills.

Language Skills

• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia.
