As our Remote Reservations Coordinator, you'll be the first personal connection many of our guests have with Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort. Working remotely, you'll provide exceptional service to guests and travel partners around the world while helping create unforgettable experiences before guests even arrive in Aruba.

Although this a fully remote position, you'll be an integral part of our Reservations team, collaborating closely with colleagues to deliver the exceptional hospitality for which Bucuti & Tara is known.

About This Opportunity
This is a fully remote independent contractorposition offering the opportunity to support one of the Caribbean's most celebrated luxury resorts from your own professional home office.

The successful candidate will:
  • Work remotely while providing world-class service to guests and travel partners.
  • Follow a five-day work week with rotating weekend coverage.
  • Be available to work according to Aruba Standard Time (AST).
  • Maintain a reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
  • Receive company-provided equipment required to perform the role.
  • Collaborate daily with our Reservations team while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

What You'll Do
As our Remote Reservations Coordinator, you'll help create seamless reservation experiences while maximizing guest satisfaction and supporting the resort's commercial success.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Assisting guests and travel partners with reservations, packages, add-ons, and special requests.
  • Providing warm, professional, and timely communication via email and other approved channels.
  • Delivering personalized service while identifying opportunities to enhance each guest's stay.
  • Processing new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and guest requests accurately.
  • Maintaining complete and accurate reservation records within our Property Management System.
  • Collaborating closely with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Accounting, and other departments.
  • Supporting travel agents, tour operators, online travel agencies, and contracted partners.
  • Monitoring reservation inboxes and responding within established service standards.
  • Maintaining exceptional attention to detail while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Upholding Bucuti & Tara's brand standards, confidentiality requirements, and commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications
  • Hospitality education and/or a minimum of two years of experience in hospitality, reservations, customer service, or a related field.
  • Previous hotel reservations experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with a Property Management System (Opera experience is an advantage).
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Additional languages such as Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, or Papiamento are an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to convert inquiries into reservations when appropriate.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional home office environment.
