Job Description
Prepare tender documents, including scope of work, technical specifications, BOQ, commercial requirements, and bidding documents.
Coordinate and manage the end-to-end tendering process, from invitation to bid through contract award.
Review and evaluate technical and commercial proposals submitted by vendors and contractors.
Conduct commercial analysis, quotation comparisons, and prepare recommendation reports.
Lead tender clarification sessions, negotiations, and techno-commercial meetings with bidders.
Draft, review, and administer contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants.
Manage contract amendments, variation orders (VO), claims, and contract close-out documentation.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Project, and Finance teams throughout the tendering and contract lifecycle.
Ensure all tender and contract documents comply with applicable regulations, company standards, and internationally recognized contract standards such as GCC and FIDIC.
Maintain complete documentation and records for all tender and contract activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Tendering, Contract Management, Quantity Surveying, or Procurement within construction, infrastructure, EPC, or industrial projects.
Proven experience in managing tender processes, bid evaluations, and contract administration.
Strong understanding of BOQ, cost estimation, contract negotiation, and commercial evaluation.
Familiar with General Conditions of Contract (GCC), knowledge of FIDIC is highly preferred.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
Able to manage multiple tenders and contracts simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Willing to be permanently based in Merauke, South Papua (non-roster arrangement).
