Responsible for overseeing the production processes involved in the manufacturing of oleochemicals, which are derived from natural oils and fatsand are used in a variety of industries including cosmetics, food, pharmaceuticals, and industrial products.
The Oleochemical Production Asst Manager will manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the oleochemical production plant, ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. The role is responsible for leading a team, maintaining production schedules, ensuring product quality, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee the entire production process of oleochemical products, from raw material intake to final product packaging.
Ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.
Optimize production lines for efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
Supervise the operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Lead, manage, and develop a team of production operators, engineers, and supervisors.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and mentoring to staff.
Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the production team.
Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Implement quality control processes, conduct regular inspections, and resolve any quality-related issues.
Collaborate with the quality assurance department to address product deviations and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Ensure adherence to all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations in the production process.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, and ensure that safety protocols are strictly followed.
Prepare and maintain records related to production, safety, and environmental compliance.
Job Requirement :
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
At least 8-10 years of experience in chemical or oleochemical, chemical, petro chemical industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
In-depth knowledge of oleochemical production processes and machinery.
Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Familiar with high pressure oleochemical processes
