About the role
We are seeking an experienced Trucking Fleet Dispatcher to join our team at Elyu Chemical Indonesia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the efficient movement of our fleet of trucks, ensuring timely deliveries to our customers in the Gedangan Sidoarjo region of East Java.
What you'll be doing
Schedule and dispatch trucks to meet customer delivery requirements
Monitor truck locations and movements in real-time to optimise routes and respond to any delays or issues
Communicate with drivers, customers and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any problems that arise
Maintain detailed records of vehicle utilisation, driver performance and customer deliveries
Identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency and make recommendations to management
Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Trucking Fleet Dispatcher or in a similar logistics role
Strong understanding of fleet management principles and transportation regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with drivers, customers and other stakeholders
Proficient in using fleet management software and technology to track and monitor vehicle movements
Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions to resolve issues
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
