Description:
Leading and managing the Elementary unit by ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, inclusive practices, consistent student development, and a supportive values-driven learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise Elementary teachers and monitor classroom learning, teaching quality, and student wellbeing.
Coordinate daily academic activities within the Elementary unit.
Manage student and parent concerns, including academic, behavioral, and wellbeing-related matters.
Support teachers in curriculum implementation, inclusive education practices, and student-centered learning.
Conduct teacher observations, evaluations, and provide constructive feedback for professional growth.
Lead academic planning, review curriculum implementation, and oversee Elementary programs and events.
Collaborate with GPK, School Psychologist, SHIELD Team, other principals, and school leadership to support student needs and school-wide programs.
Prepare academic reports, teacher evaluation documentation, Elementary unit plans, student reports, and parent communication records.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
Experience in Elementary education and school leadership is strongly preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Good understanding of inclusive education, student wellbeing, teacher supervision, and parent communication and Waldorf Framework.
Demonstrates compassion, inclusion, responsibility, professionalism, and alignment with the school’s values.
