Job Overview
We are a growing interior manufacturing company seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting & Tax Assistant Manager to oversee accounting operations, tax compliance, cost control, and inventory management within our manufacturing environment.
This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong cost control in production activities, and full compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting
Supervise daily accounting operations (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable).
Ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual financial closing.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with PSAK/IFRS standards.
Manage journal entries, accruals, depreciation, and other adjustments.
2. Manufacturing Costing & Inventory Control
Monitor and analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), including raw materials, labor, and factory overhead.
Ensure accurate product costing for interior manufacturing projects.
Control and reconcile inventory (raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods).
Conduct regular stock opname and perform inventory variance analysis.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in production cost and stock.
3. Taxation
Prepare and review corporate tax calculations (VAT, Income Tax Article 21, 23, 25, and 29).
Ensure accurate and timely monthly and annual tax reporting.
Maintain full compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
Coordinate with tax consultants and tax authorities when required.
4. Reporting & Budgeting
Support the preparation of management reports and financial analysis.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Provide cost analysis and recommendations to improve production efficiency.
5. Team Leadership & Internal Control
Supervise and guide accounting and tax staff.
Review team outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Strengthen internal control systems, especially in inventory and purchasing cycles.
Support internal and external audit processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax related field.
Minimum 4–7 years of experience in Accounting & Tax roles.
Strong experience in the manufacturing industry (preferred: furniture, interior, or construction materials).
Solid understanding of cost accounting and inventory management systems.
Good knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations.
Experience using ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Accurate, or similar).
Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines.
