- Check, repair, monitor, and maintain the electrical functions of equipment, including but not limited to boilers, chillers, air compressors, wastewater treatment equipment, circuit breakers, motors, control boards, pumps, power outlets, air conditioning systems, and office facilities, using the preventive maintenance checklist.
- Check the inventory of electrical supplies and prepare purchase requests when necessary.
- Instruct or train junior electricians and key production personnel on the proper repair and maintenance of equipment, as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the assigned work area.
- Participate in in-house and off-site seminars or training programs as required by Management.
- Serve as the Boiler or Chiller Operator during the incumbent's absence, when assigned.
- Participate in in-house fabrication projects and carpentry work requiring technical expertise, whenever needed.
- Inspect and monitor pest control devices to ensure their proper condition and effectiveness.
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of a Technical/Vocational course or Associate's/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology (major in Electrical), or a related field. A valid Registered Master Electrician (RME) or Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) license is an advantage.
- At least 1–3 years of experience as an Electrician or Maintenance Electrician in a manufacturing, food processing, or industrial environment.
- Knowledgeable in the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, industrial equipment, and facility electrical components.
- Familiar with electrical diagrams, control panels, motors, circuit breakers, electrical safety standards, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Skilled in using electrical testing instruments and hand/power tools. Basic knowledge of fabrication, welding, plumbing, or carpentry is an advantage.
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willing to train junior personnel and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
