RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and post journal entries for all business transactions including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure proper classification of transactions
- Prepare supporting schedules for financial reporting and external audits
- Coordinate with AP, AR, and other sub-ledger teams to ensure proper ledger posting
- Ensure compliance with PFRS (Philippine Financial Reporting Standards) and internal control policies
- Process fixed asset transactions including capitalization, depreciation, and disposal
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and variance analysis
- Maintain and update records in the ERP system (GL module)
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field; CPA license is a strong advantage
- Minimum 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting or audit
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP (FI/CO module), Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Solid understanding of PFRS, double-entry bookkeeping, and month-end close procedures
- Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, reconciliation templates)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
