Pedia Medical Assistant / OPD Staff
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Pedia Medical Assistant / OPD Staff to join our healthcare team in a Primary Level Hospital setting. The successful candidate will assist pediatricians during consultations, support outpatient services, administer medications as directed, and help ensure efficient, safe, and quality patient care in the Outpatient Department (OPD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pediatricians during patient consultations, examinations, and minor procedures
- Receive, assess, and assist patients in the Outpatient Department (OPD)
- Obtain and record patients' vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information
- Prepare examination rooms, medical equipment, and supplies before and after consultations
- Administer prescribed medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the physician
- Assist in patient education by providing basic instructions to parents or guardians regarding medications and home care
- Monitor pediatric patients and promptly report any changes in condition to the attending physician
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of medical information
- Schedule patient appointments and assist in managing patient flow within the clinic
- Ensure cleanliness, proper storage, and availability of medical supplies and equipment
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide efficient patient care
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any allied health course (BS Nursing, BS Pharmacy, BS Medical Technology, Midwifery, or other related healthcare courses)

- Experience in a pediatric clinic, OPD, or hospital setting is an advantage but not required
- Knowledgeable in basic medication administration and patient care
- Compassionate, patient, and child-friendly
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Working Schedule: Monday to Saturday 10:00AM to 7:00PM /11:00AM to 8:00PM
