As a remote interpreter, you play a significant role in facilitating communication between HMONG and English speakers. Candidate Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and HMONG
- Minimum 1-year interpretation experience preferred
- Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Render correct concepts and meanings according to the conventions of established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions.
- Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication with permission or at the request of the client.
- Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and target language
- Computer or Laptop
- Windows 10 or higher
- USB Wired headset
- Steady wired internet connection
