Key Responsibilities
The Technical Support will be responsible for executing and documenting all on-the-ground activities related to product validation and market engagement within the assigned territory.
Learning Development Centre (LDC): Plan, execute, and monitor all demoplot trials in the assigned LDC and farmers locations
Field Marketing: Organize and conduct field marketing activities, including farmer meetings/ field schools, field days, leading to sales
Farmer Engagement: Conduct regular and follow-up visits to farmers and demoplot locations.
Market Intelligence: Collect and report information regarding competitor products and market dynamics in the coverage area.
Reporting: Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing marketing activities, stakeholder visits, and preliminary sales observations to the direct Agronomist.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Science, Agronomy, Soil Science, Agribusiness, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in agriculture field assistant or similar role.
Strong understanding of fertilizers, soil amendment products, and their application.
Field Activities: Proven experience in planning and executing agriculture field activities.
Mobility: Must own a personal motorbike and possess a valid driving license (SIM-C).
Travel: Must be willing to work and travel extensively across 2–3 designated districts.
Networking (Plus): Strong existing relationships with key agricultural stakeholders (e.g., retailers, farmer groups, and local government officials) is a significant advantage.
