We are looking for a highly motivated Government Relations Officer to strengthen our engagement with government stakeholders and support our expansion across Indonesia and beyond.
Position: Government Relations Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant government agencies, ministries, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate regulatory developments that may impact the company's operations and strategic initiatives.
- Support licensing, permit applications, regulatory submissions, and compliance-related activities.
- Coordinate meetings, presentations, and official correspondence with government stakeholders.
- Represent the company at government forums, public consultations, industry events, and policy discussions.
- Develop stakeholder mapping and engagement strategies to support business objectives.
- Prepare briefing materials, reports, position papers, and policy updates for management.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Legal, Business Development, Marketing, and Operations on regulatory and public affairs matters.
- Identify opportunities for public-private partnerships, grants, and government-supported programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, International Relations, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, regulatory affairs, public policy, corporate communications, or a related function.
- Strong understanding of Indonesia's regulatory and government landscape.
- Excellent stakeholder management, networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience interacting with ministries, government agencies, regulators, or industry associations is highly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience in healthcare, digital health, technology, consumer goods, or highly regulated industries is a plus.
