Maven is looking for a mission-driven, empathetic bilingual (German/English) Licensed Psychotherapist based in Germany or Europe to support our members through virtual care services.

As a Maven provider, you will have the opportunity to meet with adult members across the United States and globally, expanding access to high-quality, culturally responsive mental health care through scalable virtual support. You will also collaborate with a curated provider network spanning 30+ specialties and 350+ subspecialties to deliver holistic, high-value care.

As a Maven provider you will:

  • Provide virtual care and support to adult members via 40-minute video consults and asynchronous messaging around:
    • Pregnancy, postpartum, peri-menopause, menopause
    • Adoption, surrogacy, fertility, egg freezing, loss, return-to-work
    • Anxiety, depression, personality disorder, bipolar disorder, etc.
    • Balancing work-life and parent life
    • Parent and family coaching
  • Use brief solution-focused therapy to address immediate issues so client can leaves with tools and skills
  • Collaborate with Maven’s Care Advocate team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals, follow-ups, etc.
  • Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone.

We’re looking for you to bring:
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
  • Must be located in Germany
  • Valid, independent licensure in Germany as one of the following, in accordance with German professional regulation:
    • Psychologischer Psychotherapeutin (licensed psychological psychotherapist under the PsychThG)
    • Ärztlicher Psychotherapeutin / Facharzt/Fachärztin für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie
    • Or equivalent regulated psychotherapeutic qualification recognised within the EU with independent practice authority in Germany
  • Registration and good standing with the appropriate regional licensing chamber (Psychotherapeutenkammer or medical chamber, as applicable)
  • Experience delivering structured, evidence-based psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT-informed approaches, or other guideline-based modalities)
  • 3+ years of post-licensure clinical experience as an independently practicing mental health professional
  • Ability to provide approximately 2 hours of direct member care per week, with potential for expansion (part-time, independent contractor role)
  • Strong understanding of culturally responsive and perinatal/family mental health care
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to clinical documentation standards
