The Legal Counsel & Public Relations is responsible for providing comprehensive legal support while managing the Company's corporate communications and public relations activities. This role ensures compliance with applicable aviation laws and regulations, protects the Company's legal interests, and maintains a positive corporate image through effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Deliverables, Duties and Responsibilities

Legal Affairs

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.

  • Manage regulatory licensing, permits, certifications, and legal documentation related to aviation operations.

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, aviation contracts, NDAs, lease agreements, and vendor contracts.

  • Provide legal advice to management regarding operational, commercial, and corporate matters.

  • Support HR and Compliance teams regarding labor laws, employment matters, pilot/crew agreements, and Safety Management System (SMS) compliance.

  • Advise on corporate governance, strategic partnerships, and joint ventures.

  • Coordinate with external legal counsel when litigation or specialized legal advice is required.

  • Identify legal risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies.

  • Maintain legal records and ensure timely renewal of licenses and corporate documents.


Public Relations

  • Develop and implement public relations initiatives to support the Company's image and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders.

  • Coordinate communication with government authorities, aviation regulators, clients, vendors, and other external stakeholders on operational and regulatory matters.

  • Prepare, review, and coordinate official correspondence, announcements, and public communications to ensure consistency and compliance with Company policies.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with government agencies, aviation authorities, and other relevant stakeholders to support the Company's operations.

  • Coordinate and support meetings, visits, and official events involving external stakeholders.

  • Monitor public issues and provide recommendations on communication approaches for matters that may affect the Company's reputation.

  • Support crisis communication by providing legal guidance and coordinating responses to external stakeholders when required.

  • Ensure all external communications comply with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.


Experience, Qualifications and Attributes

  • Bachelor's degree in Law

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Legal, Corporate Affairs, or Public Relations.

  • Experience in the aviation industry is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate law, labor law, and aviation regulations.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal English communication.

  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
