Responsible for receiving and controlling all incoming goods and maintaining accurate inventory and financial records, ensuring proper documentation, internal control, and data accuracy to support accounting, purchasing, and operational activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive all delivered goods and verify them to purchase orders and delivery notes.
Check quantity, quality, specifications, and expiration dates of incoming items.
Reject or report any damaged, incorrect, or non-compliant goods.
Prepare receiving reports and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
Coordinate with purchasing and driver teams regarding deliveries and discrepancies.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and transfer of goods to designated areas.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area.
Support inventory control, stock rotation (FIFO), and physical stock checks.
Record daily transactions including purchases, inventory movements, and expenses.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date storekeeping records.
File and organize invoices, delivery notes, and financial documents.
