Physics Teacher (IGCSE & AS/A Level) – Urgent Hiring
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join our academic team immediately due to an unexpected vacancy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Cambridge Physics at the IGCSE and AS/A Level stages, inspiring students to achieve academic excellence while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Physics Education, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Physics.
Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
Must be confident and capable of teaching Physics entirely in English.
Able to effectively engage and communicate with native and non-native English-speaking students.
Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Passionate about teaching and supporting student achievement.
Able to work collaboratively within an international school environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching the Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE and/or AS/A Level Physics).
Currently residing in Bali or willing to relocate immediately.
Familiarity with Cambridge assessment standards and examination preparation.
Experience teaching in an international school environment.
Experience working with multicultural and international student populations.
Responsibilities
Teach Physics for IGCSE and AS/A Level students.
Prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
Assess, monitor, and report student progress.
Support students in examination preparation and academic development.
Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and teaching materials.
Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.
What We Are Looking For
We welcome applications from experienced Cambridge Physics teachers. Candidates with a strong academic background in Physics and experience teaching senior high school Physics are also encouraged to apply, even if they have limited Cambridge teaching experience. Training and academic support may be provided for the right candidate.
As English is the primary language of instruction, applicants must be comfortable delivering lessons, conducting discussions, preparing teaching materials, and communicating with students and parents in English.
Fluency in English is mandatory. Shortlisted candidates may be required to conduct a demonstration lesson in English.
