Job Responsibilities
1.1 Interpretation & Meeting Support
Provide Chinese-Indonesian consecutive interpretation in meetings such as event preparation meetings, government/partner meetings, and internal team meetings.
Assist Chinese colleagues in phone or in-person communication with local Indonesian Event Organizers (EO), suppliers, PORDI/ORADO, and other organizations.
Provide language support and etiquette reminders in scenarios such as government guest invitations and VVIP receptions.
1.2 Translation & Document Processing
Handle Chinese-Indonesian bilingual translation of core documents, including event plans, budget sheets, contract summaries, rundowns, and post-event review reports.
Translate official documents such as government correspondence, invitation letters, and cooperation agreements, ensuring accurate wording in line with Indonesian official document conventions.
Compile and archive multilingual versions of meeting minutes, workflow documents, etc.
1.3 Information Collection & Briefing
Track daily news related to products, ORADO/PORDI updates, government policies, etc.; extract key points and provide summaries in both Chinese and Indonesian.
Assist with basic research tasks such as collecting information on local competing events and conducting EO background checks.
Regularly compile the "Indonesia Industry Weekly Report" for team reference.
1.4 Administrative & Cultural Support
Assist in arranging business travel itineraries, meeting appointments, and local reception for Chinese colleagues.
Provide cultural interpretation in cross-cultural communication, reminding Chinese colleagues of local etiquette, religious customs, etc.
Assist with basic administrative tasks such as organizing reimbursement documents and filing.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Language Skills:
Chinese: Fluent in listening, speaking, reading, and writing (HSK Level 5 or above, or having studied/worked in China for more than 2 years), capable of interpreting in business meetings.
Indonesian: Native-level proficiency.
English: Basic reading and writing skills, able to handle English emails and read industry materials.
Education: Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Translation, Chinese Language, Linguistics, International Relations, Business Management, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in translation or administrative assistant roles; experience in the events, gaming, or activities industry is preferred; outstanding fresh graduates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PPT) and collaboration tools such as Feishu (Lark).
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the gaming or Indonesian esports/sports industry background.
Holds an Indonesian driver's license and is willing to travel for short-term assignments (Surabaya, Bekasi, etc.).
Has studied or lived in China, familiar with Chinese work culture and communication styles.
Soft Skills
Proactive communicator with clear expression; willing to ask questions without avoiding issues due to language barriers.
Detail-oriented and responsible, with high self-standards for translation accuracy.
Flexible and collaborative in cross-cultural teams, demonstrating both service awareness and independent judgment.
Able to adapt to high-intensity work schedules during events (weekend activities, business travel, etc.).
