ROLE OVERVIEW


We are looking for a Business Analyst who enjoys understanding how businesses work and translating discussions into clear, structured, and actionable documentation.

In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, and clients to transform business requirements into functional specifications that guide software development and implementation.

You will be working in a B2B enterprise environment, helping global clients manage complex business processes such as inventory management, logistics, warehousing, procurement, asset tracking, project operations, and service management.


This position is ideal for someone who:

Your primary focus will be understanding requirements, producing professional documentation, defining clear acceptance criteria, supporting development teams, and helping ensure successful project delivery.

This is a full-time, fully remote role.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Business Requirement Documentation

  • Participate in requirement gathering sessions with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Produce clear, professional, and well-structured Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
  • Create user stories, process flows, use cases, business rules, and supporting functional documentation.
  • Define acceptance criteria that are clear, measurable, and testable.
  • Translate approved requirements into development-ready tasks and user stories within Jira.
  • Ensure requirements, business rules, dependencies, and acceptance criteria are sufficiently documented before development begins.


2. Requirement Analysis & Clarification

  • Work closely with Project Managers during requirement discussions, workshops, and client meetings.
  • Document meeting outcomes, key decisions, and action items.
  • Create flowcharts, process diagrams, user journeys, and system workflows.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or missing information within requirements and follow up with stakeholders for clarification.
  • Maintain traceability between business requirements, development tasks, and delivered functionality.


3. Development & QA Support

  • Collaborate closely with Developers and QA Engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain Jira tickets, ensuring requirements, business rules, attachments, and acceptance criteria are properly documented.
  • Support backlog refinement and sprint planning discussions.
  • Help answer functional questions raised by Developers and QA Engineers based on approved requirements and documentation.
  • Maintain requirement updates and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as a bridge between stakeholders, Project Managers, Developers, and QA Engineers to ensure requirements remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle.


4. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support

  • Assist Project Managers and key users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Prepare supporting materials, user guides, and training documentation.
  • Help track user feedback, issues, enhancement requests, and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate communication between users and project teams during testing and implementation.


5. Continuous Learning & Process Improvement

  • Continuously learn and understand business processes related to supply chain, inventory, logistics, warehouse management, asset tracking, and enterprise operations.
  • Participate in project reviews and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Continuously improve documentation quality, analysis skills, and understanding of enterprise systems.


QUALIFICATIONS


1. Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, ERP Consultant, Product Analyst, Project Administrator, QA, or related role within software development or ERP implementation projects.
  • Experience participating in requirement discussions, stakeholder meetings, software implementation projects, or business process documentation.
  • Proven ability to create structured, professional, and developer-friendly documentation.


2. Technical & Analytical Competence

  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
  • Ability to organize complex information into structured documents, workflows, and diagrams.
  • Familiarity with flowcharts, process mapping, BPMN, or similar business modeling techniques.
  • Experience writing user stories, business rules, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes and task management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar platforms.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools.
  • Familiarity with Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, essential for discussions, documentation, and collaboration with international clients and teams.


3. Soft Skills

  • Able to understand discussions quickly and organize information into structured documentation and process flows.
